Veteran Owned · Founded 2010

Built By A Lacrosse Family.
Still Run By One.

Veteran-owned. Founded in a garage in 2010. Still answering our own phones.

In 2010, my sons and I were fed up with the quality of the lacrosse gear we were using, mostly the nets. So we started making our own. We worked out of our garage and sold nothing but nets.

Our first logo was designed by the 12-year-olds on the team I coached. It looked a lot like a big green superhero in lacrosse gear. I still laugh about it. It was a fun way to start, and it taught my boys what it means to build a business around something you love.

Crankshooter is a veteran-owned business. I served in the U.S. military before starting this company. What I learned there still shapes how we run things today: work hard, act with integrity, and take care of your team. It’s also how we take care of you.

I coached for years. My two sons played at a high level, winning state championships and national college championships along the way. Most of our office staff played at a high level too, and several still coach college lacrosse. That keeps us close to what players, parents, and coaches actually need.

As we grew, we moved into one warehouse, then another. By then my sons were in high school, and the local JV and varsity players were our workforce. They’d finish practice, head to the warehouse, and pick and pack orders, paid by the shipment. Picture a room full of teenagers hustling, music cranked up, everybody chirping at each other.

When they left for college, we moved into a much bigger space with a full team, and the boys still pitched in when they were home. Today we have a call center, a warehouse crew, and logistics and quality assurance teams. We still feel like the family business that started in that garage.

Every step of the way, our goal has been the same: great gear at a fair price, backed by customer service people remember. We all pitch in where we’re needed, and yes, I still answer the phones and reply to customer emails now and then. Staying that close to our customers is one of our biggest advantages.

Thanks for being part of the Crankshooter family. If you ever have a question, or just want to talk lacrosse, my door (and my phone) is always open.
