The Crankshooter ORBIT™ Backstop

Get more out of your practice sessions with the Crankshooter Orbit™ Lacrosse Backstop Net, designed to catch those missed shots on goal that happen when you’re pushing the limits of training. Coaches across the country are recommending our 12' wide x 9' tall backstop net for its compact design, easy set-up, performance and durability.

Like all Crankshooter products, quality and toughness are key.  Built with powder coated STEEL poles and 16mm high strength fiberglass end poles, the ORBIT™ was built to go the distance.  The netting is a tough Polyester (max performance) netting with 600D webbing sewn into the netting on the edges.  The rear stabilizer bars were design for windy conditions and there are 4 ground stakes to further anchor this system down.

Setting up is a breeze - complete in just 2-3 minutes with no tools or additional screws or bolts needed. The lightweight design makes it easy to move across fields or gyms, and the barrier collapses into a convenient carrying bag for easy transportation and storage.  A 90-day limited manufacturer warranty is included.

Built to Last, Easy to Use – A Must-Have for Lacrosse Players

I’ve been using the Crankshooter Orbit for a few weeks now, and I have to say, it’s been a game-changer for my lacrosse setup. The first thing that stood out to me was how sturdy the frame is. You can tell right away that it’s built to handle serious use, which is key for me since I put my gear through a lot of wear and tear. Setting it up was easy, and once it’s up, it doesn’t budge, even when I’m firing off shots at full speed.

The netting is super durable and tight, which gives me confidence that it’s going to last through a lot of intense practice sessions. And the portability? That’s one of the best features. It’s light enough to move around, but not flimsy. I’ve used other goals in the past that felt too heavy to move on my own, but the Orbit strikes the perfect balance between strength and ease of transport.

Great grip, even after 2 years!

I bought more to replace lost (TX-1) balls over the last 2 years. The TX-1’s are stored indoors, and cleaned with soapy water when needed. They have stayed in like new condition with this low maintenance. My son (attack) uses Crankshooter’s green TX-1 balls exclusively for his non-team “at home” drills.
